Behind the DM Screen
Here you can learn about us and take a peek behind the scenes at life in our nerdy bakery.
Wondering where out name came from? I'm sure you aren't the only one. First a question for you, have you ever heard of the game Dungeons & Dragons?
Yes: There you have it, I combined my love of the game with my love of baking and here we are.
No: It's a table top RPG (roll playing game). Think, collective make-believe with a rule set, or interactive stories with (simple) math.

Our First Campaign
In 2022 I turned my baking hobby into a full time business.
Before this I worked at a garden center, but after having my eldest, Fae Beastie, it quickly became clear that working from home would be the best option for our family.
The first year was full of challenges, but with a little luck and a lot of work I joined a Farmer's Markets, two large craft fairs as well as a few small ones.
I even catered my very first wedding!
How it's going...
2025/26
The winter, for us, is always the best time for baking experimentation. We added Night Watch (mocha) and Owlbear Tracks (chocolate, peanut butter and butterscotch) cookies to our line up.
We catered several events, sold baked goods at weekly Farmer's Markets, did three large holiday craft fairs, and put our cookies in a local farm stand.
Participated in the Maine culinary festival, very much enjoyed that.
Partnered with Fox Meadow Flower Farm for a mother's day cookie and flower box.
The kids, now 2 and 4, went berry picking again with me and enjoyed it. Fae Beastie loves helping bake things whenever she can, mostly for family birthdays... because she likes to lick the spatula.
